Every month, each member of the All Star Tutorial Design Team creates a project featuring our chosen bundle/suite and this month, we are featuring the Sweet Talk Suite in the new January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue. Here's a sneak peek of my project for our tutorial bundle this month:

For today's project, I chose to create a non-Valentine themed card, to show the versatility of these products, although you could easily add a Valentines sentiment and turn it into a Valentine's Card!

I used the Sweet Hearts Dies (which coordinate with the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set) to create an array of different coloured hearts on a textured background. The background layer was embossed using the Gingham Embossing folder, NEW in the January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue.

I also added the Amazing Thanks Dies (also new) to die cut the 'thanks' using rose gold metallic paper. I also used the metallic paper to mat the white embossed layer and mounted it onto a white card base. All supplies used on my card are available in my online store, you can find them at the end of this blog post. 

The Amazing Thanks Dies are just...well, AMAZING! The die set includes the detailed scripty font as well as an outline of the same word, so you can create some contrast. I also embellished with the new Iridescent Rhinestones, possibly my favourite embellishment in the new catalogue! Here's a close up:

Bloom Where You're Planted - All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop

Hey there! Welcome to our December All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop and thanks for stopping by! 

This month, we are featuring one of my FAVOURITE suites in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, called Bloom Where You're Planted. I am NOT one to keep real plants alive, so being able to play with paper plants is totally my jam! For our All Star Tutorial Bundle this month, I created a cute card featuring this suite, here's a sneak peek:

I seriously can't get enough of this suite of products and was so excited to create another project for today's blog hop. Here's my project for today:

I don't often make 'fun fold' cards, but was super excited to create one with this suite. It's called a double box step fold card, pretty fun right?

The wide bottom allows it to stand up perfectly, so it can be displayed. This was surprisingly easier to make than I had expected! There are lots of tutorials available on YouTube, but here's a list of the measurements in case that's helpful to you:

• Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 10, scored at 1/2, 1 3/4, 3 3/4, 5
• Cardstock: 3 x 5 3/4, scored at 1/2, 1 3/4
• DSP: 5 1/4 x 4, 1 3/4 x 4
• White: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4

Sweet Symmetry Wreath Card - All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop! Each month, our team chooses a bundle/suite to design with. In addition to creating a project for our awesome VIDEO tutorial bundle, we also do a blog hop! Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoy my project!

This month, we are sharing projects featuring the Sweet Symmetry Suite, which can be found on pages 112-113 of our Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. This suite oozes bold, bright colours and images and as the name would imply, symmetry! The fonts in the stamp set are super cute - I'm a sucker for good fonts - not to mention, SO versatile! One can easily create thank you, birthday, friendship and just because cards in just minutes! Here's a sneak peek of my project for the tutorial bundle this month:

And without further ado, here's my project for our Blog Hop today:

I got the inspiration for the layout from one of the sample cards shown on page 112. The catalogue is one of my favourite sources of inspiration when it comes to designing! I hadn't used the coordinating Symmetrical Stems Border Punch much and decided to try to make a cute wreath using the sprigs from the punch. I punched them out from one of the designer series paper patterns and adhered them in a circular formation using glue dots on a textured background. I stamped and fussy cut some of the tiny flowers and added them to the wreath. 

I embellished using the Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon that coordinates with the suite and added some Champagne Rhinestones to finish off the card.
