Tag Buffet THREE Ways!

Thursday, October 15, 2020

Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm sharing three cute projects I made during my Facebook Live this week featuring the Tag Buffet Stamp Set and Project Kit!

The Tag Buffet Project kit is new to our 2020 August - December Holiday Catalogue and without a doubt, it's my most favourite tag kit ever. Stampin' Up! tends to release a new tag kit every holiday catalogue and they're all great, but this one has me swooning. The colours, the beautiful watercoloured images, the large size of the tags, I love it. ALL. OF. IT.

Aren't they fabulous? This kit is so quick and easy to assemble, totally my thing. And the stamp set is amazing too. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for making tons of holiday themed projects, especially cards. I've designed my October Card Club around this set, I love how the projects turned out! Here's a little sneak peek:

Pretty Wreath Congratulations Card

Monday, October 12, 2020

Hey crafty friend!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I so appreciate you. Today I'm sharing a pretty card featuring the Wreath Builder Dies. I'm playing along with the Global Design Project Sketch Challenge, I just love this sketch!

Here's the card:

wreath builder, congratulations card, congrats card, in good taste dsp, well written, wreath card

I have to admit, when these dies first came out, I didn't think I needed them...what was I thinking?? They're so versatile and so easy to create with! I'm so happy I have them now, I see tons of possibilities. I love how this colour combo came together with the woodgrain designer series paper as the backdrop. It would be perfect for a congratulations for a new home, new baby, anniversary, wedding, new job, etc...

Here's the scoop on the card:
  1. Start with a Just Jade Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  2. Cut a Petal Pink Layer - 5 1/4 x 4"
  3. Cut an In Good Taste DSP Layer: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8"
  4. Using the Wreath Builder Dies, cut two wreaths - Just Jade & Very Vanilla
  5. Using the flower dies, cut two pointsettias (Whisper White), three medium flowers (Petal Pink) and three small flowers (Petal Pink)
  6. Tie two bows using Linen Thread and the gingham ribbon
  7. Heat emboss the Congratulations sentiment (from Well Said stamp set) in white onto Petal Pink - cut out using Rectangle Stitched Dies
  8. Assemble using Glue Dots, Dimensionals and your tape runner/glue of choice
  9. Embellish with Pearl Jewels

And that's it!! This card would take you maybe 15 minutes to assemble. Worth the time, don't you think? I hope you like the card and that you give it a try! All the supplies needed for the card are available in my Online Store and are listed below.

Please comment below and let me know if you have any questions or what you think of the card! Thanks for stopping by, have a fabulous day!

Zahra

Here's another project I made using the same suite, I decorated a clear acetate box and made some cute little 3 x 3" notecards. I used a 'hello' stamp to create this little project that would be perfect as a hostess gift, a gift for a new neighbour or just a little pick me up for a friend/family member!
