I'm so excited to be hopping along with my talented friends on the All Star Tutorial Design Team for our monthly blog hop. This month we're featuring the Sweet as a Peach Bundle and have each created a project for today's blog hop.
Each month, our design team chooses a bundle to focus on and we each create a project and put together a video tutorial with step by step instructions as well as a PDF with supplies, measurements and photos. Here's our sneak peek graphic for this month:
And here's a sneak peek of my project for the tutorial bundle:
For my project today, I decided to not use the peach as a peach, but instead, as an apple! Here's why: most kids are going back to school this week - THANK GOODNESS - or might have just started back at school and this mama couldn't be happier! Yes, I'll miss being able to see and hug my kids throughout the day, but I am so stoked for them to be back in school, with their friends and teachers and not be sitting at a screen all day.
As you might know, apples have historically been a symbol of knowledge and education. I wasn't exactly sure how this originated, so I asked my trusted friend Google. If you're interested, you can find a quick explanation here.
As an employee of our local school board returning to work in person, I can just imagine some of the worries and anxieties teachers might be facing (and of course, excitement to see the kiddies in person). So I decided to create a card for my daughter to give to her teacher on the first day of school, a little sunshine to brighten her day.
Without further ado, here's my project:
For this card, I took inspiration from a card in the Annual Catalogue (p 43) featuring the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and tweaked it a little. I started with a Poppy Parade card base and added a panel of basic white, which I ran through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery Die. Such a fun background, don't you think? I used two shades of red - Poppy Parade and Real Red - to create some dimension for the apple. The paper is from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, which is a host gift which you can get for FREE when you host a qualifying party or place an order over $200 CAD. I just love the gingham pattern in this paper pack. The sentiment is from the Color & Contour Stamp Set, one of my most used sentiments. All of the supplies used on my project can be purchased from my online store and are listed at the end of this post.
Here is my card close up:
I also wanted to send a little treat for Amelia's teacher, so I used the Mini Jam Jars (part of the You're a Peach Suite) and dressed it up with the same paper, some black twine and a stamped and die cut apple. I filled it with some red, black and white jelly beans to coordinate with the colours for my card and jar.
I just LOVE how it turned out, what do you think? I would love to hear from you in the comments!

Hey there, thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
Today, I'm sharing a Christmas Card (no, it's never too early) with you that features one of my most favourite colour combinations of all time...pink and grey. I remember years ago, as I was designing for one of my Stamp Camps (more on this further down), I played around with some colour combos and created a pink and grey Christmas Card which I (and everyone at Stamp Camp) loved! Since then, it's almost become a tradition to create a pink and grey Christmas card annually!
I used the Whimsy and Wonder Suite in the Holiday Catalogue to create this card. I love everything about this suite. It's like Stampin' Up! could read my mind and created this just for me LOL. All products used to create this card are listed below.
When I first saw this paper, I just knew that I needed to include it in our upcoming Stamp Camp and immediately messaged my fellow co-organizer, Jennifer to tell her! Here's one more look at my card:
Here's a video replay of the Facebook Live where I made this card:
So, what's Stamp Camp, you ask? Well, it's one of my most popular and well attended events. I run a Stamp Camp everytime a new catalogue launches and feature stamps and products from the new catalogue. Historically, Stamp Camp was held in person; however, once the pandemic hit, I switched and began doing them virtually. I'll be holding my FOURTH virtual Stamp Camp on September 18th, 2021...here are the details:
For this Stamp Camp, we'll be featuring the Peaceful Deer Bundle and the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set. We'll be designing 5 cards with each set and prepping all the materials for participants to make a total of 10 cards!
Here's what participants can expect from my Stamp Camps:

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I'm hopping along with the talented crafters on the All Star Tutorial Design Team for our August Blog Hop and this month, we're featuring the gorgeous Hand-Penned Petals Suite.
I'm a HUGE fan of florals and soft pastels, so this suite has my heart 😍The stamps, the dies, the paper, the gems...I love ALL. OF. IT.
Every month, members of the All Star Tutorial Design Team create a project for out Tutorial Bundle which includes 12 different video tutorials showcasing a suite or product. Our hope is to provide you with ideas, tips and inspiration to help make your crafting experience successful.
Here's a sneak peek of my project this month:
Here's my project for the Blog Hop:
For my card, I started with a Thick Basic White card base and added a piece of the gorgeous Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. I chose to use a non-floral pattern, so the stamped and die cut flowers would stand out.
I stamped the flowers in Memento Black and coloured them using Stampin' Blends. I then die cut the cluster of stamped and coloured flowers using the Penned Petals Dies. I also cut a flower and some leaves using the dies. I adhered the die cut flowers and leaves to the card.
I heat embossed the greeting in white on black cardstock and used the border die in the Penned Flowers Dies to cut the scalloped border. I added a bow using white Baker's Twine and glued down the sentiment using dimensionals. I embellished with Genial Gems, one of my favourite embellishments from the Annual Catalogue.
I love the simplicity of the card and how the flowers and sentiment stand out beautifully against the white background.
If you love this suite of products, you'll get loads of inspiration from our Tutorial Bundle this month.
We will be featuring the following product collections over the next 6 months:
