Trimming the Town Slimline Card

 

Hey there crafty friend!

Thanks for popping by today, I have a fun project for you! As you might know, 'slimline' cards are super on trend right now, so I decided to create one! Our Creative Stampers Blog Hop this month is playing with the Trimming the Town Suite in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. I'm so in love with the Trimming the Town Suite, the stamps and dies lend themselves perfectly to creating a landscape, which works well for a slimline card. This card was inspired by Laura Milligan, when I saw her card, I just knew I had to case it! I changed up a few little details on my card, but the inspiration really came from Laura.

Here's the card:

I used a piece of the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper as the backdrop for the card. I used the stamps and Stampin' Blends to colour in the stamps and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. Here are the details for the card:

• Whisper White Thick Card Base: 8 1/2 x 7", score at 3 1/2"
• Designer Series Paper: 8 3/8 x 3 3/8"
• Landscape pieces - whisper white: 2 1/2 x 5 1/2" (x2)
• Stamp and colour images on Whisper White
• Envelope: 8 1/2 x 11", score on short side at 2 1/2", 6 1/2" and long side at 1 1/2", 10 1/2"
