Thanks for dropping by! While I don't get around to blogging as often as I would like, I do really enjoy sharing my creations with others, so I'm happy you're here!
I'll be honest, I've had the Apron of Love Bundle for quite some time now and have seen many fun creations with it, but had no idea where to start playing with it! Enter the #tgif149 Color Challenge - it was exactly the jumping off point I needed for this fun set! Thinking back, I really ordered this bundle so I could make a card for my mom, who is my rock and is ALWAYS there for me 'in a pinch'. I know it's a little early for Mother's Day, but I didn't need an occasion to let my mom know I love her 💚
And here's my card:
I wasn't sure at first how I was going to use so much green on the card without it looking too tarty, so I decided to add some black and white to a lightly watercolored background and was so happy with how it turned out! I used a striped pattern paper from the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, this paper is so versatile and pretty. I also loooooove the gold touches on the card. I could hear Austin Powers' voice in my head saying " I love goooold" as I kept adding gold detail after gold detail 😉
The sentiment - Best Mom Ever - is embossed with clear embossing powder over black ink - first time I've ever done that - will definitely be doing it again, I loved it! Here's a closer look at some of the details:
I see many possibilities with this bundle - if you don't have it, you should definitely get it and start playing! You can shop my Online Store anytime!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
