This month, we are featuring the Country Floral Lane Suite in our Spring Mini Catalogue. If you love hearts and pretty colours and patterns, this suite has your name on it! Our design team created some beautiful projects for our Video Class Bundle as well for our Blog Hop!

It's a fairly simple card with some sweet details and an easily replicated layout! In fact, my layout was inspired by a card I received from fellow Canadian Demonstrator, Lynsay Mahon. You can find her card farther down in this post. 

Here are the details for my card (supply list and links at the bottom of this post):

• Pool Party Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Basic White Layers: 5" x 3 3/4" and 3" x 4"
• Patterned Paper: 3" x 4"
• Sweet Sorbet Border: 1" x 3"
• Inks used: Pool Party, Sweet Sorbet, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz
• Bundle Used: Country Bouquet (stamp set & punch)
• Embellishments: Linen Thread and Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins

Awash in Beauty Friendship Card - All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Today our All Star Tutorial Design Team is bringing you a Blog Hop featuring a beautiful collection of products, called Awash in Beauty. 

In case this is the first time you've found this 'hop', here's how it works. Each month, the twelve members of our design team create a project featuring a particular set of products...we create video tutorials and a PDF containing photos, supply lists and measurements (both in imperial and metric). Our individual tutorials are then compiled into one bundle, full of creative inspiration! I'm a sucker for anything floral and pink, so it should come as no surprise that I'm gushing over these projects this month! Here's a close up of my tutorial project this month:

As a design team, we also participate in a Blog Hop, where we each design another project from the same suite and share it on our blogs to inspire you to create! Here's my project for today's Blog Hop:

I wasn't kidding when I said I love pink and florals, right? 

Here's how I created the card:

• I used a pink checked pattern from the coordinating paper pack and covered the card front with the paper
• I took a smaller piece of white cardstock and added some texture using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder
• I 'fussy' cut the floral arrangement, also from the designer paper pack
• I die cut some sprigs using the coordinating dies
• The sentiment is heat embossed in white on a dark green cardstock
• Finally, I added some of those Iridescent Pearls to finish off the card

The Awash in Beauty Suite Collection includes a bundle (stamp set and coordinating dies), called True Beauty. The paper that coordinates with this suite, called Awash in Beauty, is simply stunning and contains all sorts of floral patterns as well as others that are not floral, making it versatile for any gender, age or occasion. Lastly, the Iridescent Pearl Jewels are a perfect complement to these products, adding elegance and shimmer to your projects.
