Hello hello and welcome to my blog and our All Star Tutorial Blog Hop for December!

This month, we are featuring the Hues of Happiness Suite and it's one of my absolute faves in our main Annual Catalogue. I'm a real sucker for vibrant colours, florals and pretty fonts, so this collection definitely had my name on it!

This month for our Tutorial Bundle, each of the 12 members of our design team created a project featuring this suite as well as an accompanying video tutorial showing how to make the projects and a PDF with supply lists and measurements (metric and imperial). All of these tutorials have been compiled in a bundle and you can either purchase it or get it for free (details below). Here's a sneak peek of my project for this month:

For my card, I wanted to showcase the gorgeous brushstroke pattern paper in these beautiful colours. It's a simple card to create and truly, the patterned paper does most of the heavy lifting with a few added stamped and die cut elements and of course, some embellishments. 

Here are the details (all supplies and links are included below):

• Pool Party Card Base (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")
• Pool Party Layer (4" x 5 1/4")
• Designer Series Paper (3 3/4" x 5")
• Large flower: stamped in Fresh Freesia ink onto Fresh Freesia Cardstock
• Small flower: stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
• Leaves: stamped in Granny Apple Green onto Granny Apple Green Cardstock
• White embossed strip: 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" embossed with Hive 3D Embossing Folder
• Embellishments: Glossy Dots Assortment and Linen Thread

A Simply Stunning Thank You Card

Hello hello! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today, so happy you're here. In this post, I'll be sharing a simply stunning 'thank you' card, featuring the Sun Prints Suite as part of our November All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop:

This month, we are featuring a gorgeous suite of products in our Stampin' Up! Annual 2022-2023 Catalogue, called Sun Prints. And as you might expect, this suite has stunning images and printed paper and has a gorgeous nature vibe to it. Here's my card for today's hop:

I'm ALWAYS in need of thank you cards to let people in my life know I'm grateful for them, so this sentiment was perfect for the card. You'll find all of the supplies used (and shopping links) below.

Here are the details:

• I used a thick white card base, though you could use any coordinating colour as the whole card base is covered
• I chose a neutral print from the Sun Prints Designer Paper and cut a panel large enough to cover the card base
• I embossed a smaller piece of white cardstock using the Fern 3D embossing folder
• I stamped and die cut the images using the Nature's Prints Stamp Set and coordinating dies
• I die cut additional pieces to add in the background
• The sentiment is heat embossed onto a die cut label from the Nature's Prints Dies
• To embellish, I added some shimmery ribbon and Iridescent Pearls

I love the neutral colour combo of this card, with some pops of yellow, makes me happy!

All Star Tutorial Blog Hop - Rustic Harvest Suite

Hello and welcome to my blog, I'm so glad you're here! I'm participating in this month's All Star Tutorial Blog Hop, featuring the Rustic Harvest Suite in our Holiday Catalogue.

I loved designing with this gorgeous stamp set and coordinating dies...I'm a huge fan of fall and creating cards with pumpkins just makes me happy. Each of the 12 design team members created a project for our All Star Video Tutorial Bundle (more on that below) and we created another project to share with you in our blog hop! Here's the card I'm sharing for today's hop:

I love the simplicity of this layout and card - it really showcases the gorgeous patterned paper and the texture on the pumpkin. I'm a fan of black and white with a pop of colour, so this card is right up my alley! I actually pulled this layout from a card I had done previously - sometimes deciding on the layout is the part that takes me the longest. HOT TIP: find a card you've made or on Pinterest (give yourself no more than 5 minutes!) or in the catalogue and mimic the layout with whatever products you're using!

Here's how I made the card:

• Black standard card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• White layer, embossed with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Add some splatter to the white layer using the brush end of a marker
• TWO strips of coordinating patterned paper: 4 1/2" x 1 1/2"
• Die cut the parts of the pumpkin using Crumb Cake and Old Olive cardstock
• Heat emboss the sentiment in white on black cardstock - trim to size
• Embellish with Black Gingham Ribbon and Black Classic Matte Dots
