Saleabration Kick Off Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Saleabration Kick Off Blog Hop! Thanks for dropping by, I'm so excited to share my project with you!

I was so excited to play with new Saleabration products, I couldn't choose just one! The colour inspiration for my card design came from a printed storage box I purchased from Walmart, the colours are gorgeous! I just knew this needed to be the jumping off point for my card - inspiration is truly everywhere!!

So after playing around with different ways to incorporate the colours, I came up with this:

I was quite happy with how it turned out - although while making 20 of them for a card swap, I may have cursed out loud more than once :P

Here's how to make this card:
  1. Cut 4 strips of different coloured cardstock at 3 3/4" x 1 1/4" - I used Powder Pink, Soft Sky, Smoky Slate and Basic Black
  2. Adhere them to a piece of Basic Black cardstock measuring 3 3/4" x 5"
  3. Emboss using Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder - definitely a favourite of mine
  4. Adhere this layer to another Basic Black layer measuring 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and then onto a Whisper White Card base
  5. Stamp the flower from the Amazing You stamp set (FREE with any $60 purchase during Saleabration!) onto a stitched shape circle in Powder Pink Ink. Stamp the 'You are simply' sentiment in Basic Black
  6. Punch out some leaves in gold glimmer and vellum using the Leaf punch and adhere to the back of the circle. Attach to card using dimensionals.
  7. Cut out the 'amazing' from gold glimmer using the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (FREE with any $120 purchase during Saleabration!). Using fine tip glue, adhere to card
  8. Lastly, embellish with White Perfect Accents and voila!

Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think. Hope you liked the card as much as I do, thanks so much for stopping by!
