Three Cards featuring the Boho Indigo Product Medley

Sunday, April 11, 2021

Hey crafty friends!

Hope you're having a fabulous day! Here in Ontario, we just started our third lockdown and while it's sucky that this pandemic seems to be never-ending, the weather was gorgeous yesterday, the sun was shining and we were able to set up our patio furniture! We've created what feels like a little sanctuary, so at least we can enjoy the outdoors and have a change of scenery (when it's not pouring rain like it is today). Trying to find joy in little things and having a space to enjoy the outdoors is definitely one of them! Here's a photo of the space:

I can see myself spending lots of time out here in the coming weeks, reading, listening to music and of course, browsing my new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue! I'm so excited about new goodies coming our way. Even after 8 years of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I still get giddy with excitement when new products come out! At the same time, I'm also sad to see some of my favourite items leaving us. One such product is our Boho Indigo Product Medley.

Product Medleys are essentially a curated bundle of products that contain all elements needed to create a HUGE variety of projects. Whether you're a beginner papercrafter or have been papercrafting for years, you can successfully create beautiful cards and crafts with these products. This medley includes a stamp set, coordinating dies, 48 sheets of pretty patterned paper, die cut labels and leaves, embossed cardstock, two rolls of ribbon and gorgeous fabric flowers for embellishing.

Here are the projects I created with this medley:

I created three different cards for three different levels of papercrafters - beginner (bottom), casual (top right) and avid (top left). I created these during a recent Facebook Live and shared tips and instructions for how to create super simple to stepped up cards using this medley. The recording is now on YouTube, you can view it here

Here's a closer look at the three cards:

For this card (above), I used the Very Vanilla Notecards and Envelopes, perfect for creating a super quick and easy card. There was no die cutting or punching involved in the creating of this card, just used the pretty paper, die cut shape for the greeting and some accessories to embellish.

For this card, I used a simple layout and let the pretty patterned paper (also called Designer Series Paper) do the heavy lifting.

Here are the details and measurements:
  • Night of Navy Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
  • Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4 x 3 1/2; 3 3/4 x 1 1/2
  • Embossed Strip: 4 1/4 x 3/4
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock 2" Circle
  • Night of Navy 2 1/4" Circle
And here's the third card:

This card is slightly more stepped up than the previous cards and used the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine to die cut the stamped images and leaves as well as some heat embossing.

Here are the measurements for this card:
  • Crumb Cake Card Base: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
  • Night of Navy: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 (layer); 4 1/4 x 1/2 (strip), scrap
  • Designer Series (Patterned) Paper: 3 3/4 x 3 1/2, 3 3/4 x 1 1/2
  • Embossed Cardstock die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies
  • Stamp and die cut vase, die cut leaves and heat emboss sentiment in white
This medley makes it SO easy to create cute cards and other crafts. The blue and white theme and cute boho patterns are so versatile and on trend, it's a must have! The medley and refill kit (ON SALE) are available until May 3rd or while supplies last! Hop on over to my Online Store and get it before it's gone!
