I scream, you scream, we ALL scream for ICE CREAM!!

When ice cream and crafting intersect, it's PURE JOY. I just love ice cream, my favourite flavour is Kawartha Dairies Black Raspberry Thunder. It's a delicious white chocolate ice cream with swirls of raspberry puree and chunks of white chocolate - pure heaven. My family knows, when that comes into the house, everyone better keep their paws off of it, unless mama decides to share. But I digress...

Stampin' Up! released a suite of products that is all things Ice Cream. It's called Ice Cream Corner and includes a stamp set with a coordinating punch, fun and versatile patterned paper, little sprinkles that look good enough to eat and a gorgeous ribbon that coordinates with the colours in the paper. Here's a peek at the suite:

I have had so much fun playing with this suite and using the products together. With the incredible coordination, it takes the guess work out of creating and that's a huge time saver for me! During my recent Facebook Live, I created three cards using this versatile and easy-to-use suite of products, you can check out the link below!

Here's one project I created with this suite:

For this card, I used a layer of the Ice Cream Corner patterned paper that has different coloured watercolour splashes for the background. The triple scoop of ice cream was made using the punch and different colours of cardstock. I stamped the sprinkles and crosshatch on the pink ice cream scoop and cone respectively. I stamped the 'You melt my heart' sentiment on a scrap piece of cardstock. I used my Wink of Stella glitter brush to add some sparkle and embellished with some some sparkly opal rounds and Blushing Bride twine. All of the products used are listed below and can be purchased directly from my Online Store. You should definitely grab these products before they're gone!

Here are the deets:
  • Petal Pink card base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
  • Patterned Paper (DSP) - 5 1/4 x 4
  • Die cut white Scalloped Rectangle using Stitched So Sweetly Dies (or just cut out a rectangle with your trimmer)
  • Crumb Cake Scrap for sentiment - 2 x 1"
  • Ice Cream scoops and cone - Petal Pink, Pool Party, So Saffron and Cinnamon Cider cardstock scraps

Here's another card I made with the same suite:

In this card, I stamped the triangles in the set and punched them out with the Ice Cream Builder Punch. Instead of an ice cream cone, I used them to create a banner of pennants across the card. I stamped the 'Happy Birthday' in the bottom corner and added some glitter splatter to the card using Wink of Stella.
I embellished again with the Opal Rounds and twine.

Here are the specifics:
  • Soft Sea Foam Card base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
  • Patterned Paper (DSP) - 5 1/4 x 4
  • Basic White layer - 5 x 3 3/4
  • Stamp triangles and punch out using Ice Cream Builder Punch
